am ḥasiba alladhīna ij'taraḥū l-sayiāti an najʿalahum ka-alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti sawāan maḥyāhum wamamātuhum sāa mā yaḥkumūn
Do think those who commit evil deeds that We will make them like those who believed and did righteous deeds equal (in) their life and their death? Evil is what they judge!
Now as for those who indulge in sinful doings - do they think that We place them, both in their life and their death, on an equal footing with those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds? Bad, indeed, is their judgment
Or do those who commit ill-deeds suppose that We shall make them as those who believe and do good works, the same in life and death? Bad is their judgment
What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make
Or do those who commit evil deeds ˹simply˺ think that We will make them equal—in their life and after their death—to those who believe and do good? How wrong is their judgment!
Or do those who indulge in evil deeds assume that We will regard them the same as those who believe and do good deeds, that they will be alike whether in life or in death? How bad is their judgment?
Do those who commit evil deeds imagine that We shall deal with them in the same way as We deal with those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds, that they will be alike in their living and their dying? How badly they judge
Nay! do those who have wrought evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do good-- that their life and their death shall be equal? Evil it is that they judge
Assumed those who sought to do evil deeds that We will make them equal with those who believed and did as the ones in accord with morality? Are their living and dying equal? How evil is the judgment they give!
Or do those who commit evil deeds reckon that We will treat them exactly like those who believe and perform honorable actions, just as if their mode of living and their way of dying were equivalent? How lamely do they judge!
Or do those evil doers think that We shall make them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgment that they make!
Or do those who commit evil deeds suppose that We shall treat them like those who believe and perform righteous deeds equally in their life and in their death? Evil indeed is the judgment they make
Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds, both in their life and after their death? How ill they judge!
Do those who perpetrate the evil deeds assume that We will regard them as equal to those who believe and do righteous deeds, whether in their life or their death? Evil is their judgment
Have they, who have persisted in evil deeds, assessed that We will regard them equal to those who have accepted Faith and performed righteous deeds — (during) their life-span (in this world) and (at the time of) their death? (It is evident) injustice what they pronounce as (My) judgement
Do the evil doers think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do good deeds, and that their lives and deaths shall be alike? Worst is the judgment that they make
Or even do the ones who keep indulging in odious deeds reckon that We will make them as the ones who have believed and done deeds of righteousness, (and) equal (will be) their living and their dying? How odious is (the way) they judge
Do the people who commit evil think that We shall make their life and death like that of the righteously striving believers? How terrible is their Judgment
Do those who have committed evils assume that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds, so as their life and death becomes equal? Evil is what they judge
What! Do those who disrupt others' lives think that We will treat them, in life and death, like believers and helpers of humanity? Off balance, indeed, is their judgment
Do they think that We would treat the unbelievers committing evil deeds, in just the same manner as We treat the believers performing the righteous deeds? Should their lives and their deaths be equal? How wrong is their judgment
Or do those who go after evil ways think that We shall consider them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,— In their present life and after their death will be equal? They make a wrong judgment
Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge
Or do those who work evil expect that We would treat them the same as those who believe and do good works, in their present life and their death Miserable is how they judge
Do those who commit evil deeds really think that We will deal with them in the same way as those who believe and do righteous deeds, that they will be alike in their living and their dying? How badly they judge
Deem those who commit ill deeds that We shall make them as those who believe and work righteous Works? Equal is their life and their death! How ill they judge
Do those who seek evil think that We shall make them equal in life and death to those who believe and do good? How bad is the judgement that they make
Or do those who perpetrate evil deeds suppose that We will make them like those who have iman and do right actions, so that their lives and deaths will be the same? How bad their judgement is!
What? Do those who commit evil deeds think that We hold them equal with those who believe and do good, righteous deeds – equal in respect of their life and their death? How evil is their judgment
Do those who have perpetrated misdeeds suppose that We shall treat them as those who have faith and do righteous deeds, their life and death being equal? Evil is the judgement that they make
What! Do those who have wrought evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do good - that their life and their death shall be equal? Ill is their judgment
Or do those who commit bad deeds think that We make them equal, in their life and in their death, to those who believe and do good? They judge badly.
What, do those who seek corrupt ways think that We will hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds, equal will be their life and their death? Wrong is their judgment
Or do evildoers think We will make them like the righteous believers, so they are like them in their living and dying? They’ve made a bad judgement
Do the evil-doers imagine that We shall make them equal to those who believe and do good, making their lives and deaths alike? How vile is their judgement
Or do those who work evil expect that We would treat them the same as those who believe and do good works, in their present life and their death? Miserable is how they judge
Do those who do bad things think that We shall make them equal, in their lives and in their deaths, to those who believe and do good deeds? Vile is their judgement
Do those who have committed evil deeds think that We shall make them like those who have believed and have done good works, so that their life and their death should be equal? What an evil judgement they give?
Do those who work evil expect that we will treat them in the same manner as those who believe and lead a righteous life? Can their life and their death be the same? Wrong indeed is their judgment.
Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them (equal) to the believers who do good works, so that in life and death they shall be alike? How evil they judge
Or do those who do evil deeds think that We shall make them as those who believe and do good -- their life and their death being equal? Evil is what they judge
Or (did) those who earned/committed the sins/crimes think/suppose that (E) We make/put them as those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds, equal/alike (in) their life and (in) their death/time of death? It is bad what they judge/rule
Do wrongdoers expect that I (God) will treat them in the same way that I treat the believers, who do good deeds? Can their life and death be equal? If so, they are wrong
Do those who commit evil assume that We will make them equal to those who believe and do good deeds, therefore both becoming equal in life and death? What an evil judgement they impose
Do those who commit evil deeds imagine that WE shall make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds, so that their life and their death shall be equal? Evil, indeed, is what they judge
Do those who have earned evil deeds think that We shall make them resemble those who believe and do good deeds (so as) to make their life and death alike? The claim, which they (the disbelievers) make, is the worst evil
Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will treat them like those who believe and (accordingly) do deeds of righteousness so that their lives and deaths be alike? How ill they judge
Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgement that they make
Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We shall make them as those who believe and do righteous deeds, equal their living and their dying? How ill they judge
Do the workers of iniquity imagine that We will deal with them as with those who believe and do good works; so that their life and their death shall be equal? An ill judgment do they make
Do those who commit evil deeds count that we will make them like those who, believe and work righteous deeds, equal in their life and their death?- ill it is they judge
Deem they whose gettings are only evil, that we will deal with them as with those who believe and work righteousness, so that their lives and deaths shall be alike? Ill do they judge
Or do those who committed evil deeds think that they are equal in Our sight to those who believe and do good works, and likewise their lives and deaths? How ill they judge
Or is it that those who perpetrate evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds? Their life and their death is equal [to Us]. How evil is that which they dispose.
Or do those who have perpetrated evil deeds think that We shall treat them as those who Live by Faith and strive to do righteous acts, equally in their life and in their death? How bad they judge!
Or do those who commit bad think that We make them equal to those who believe and do good during their lives and after death? They judge badly.
Do those who seek evil ways think that We will consider them equal with those who believe and live righteously –that their life after death will be equal? They use poor judgment [if they think that]!
Or do those who have perpetrated evil deeds assume that We will make them as equal to those who have attained faith and have done righteous deeds, whether in their life or their death? Miserable is their judgment!
Or do those who commit evil deeds thinkreckon that We will treat them exactly like those who believe and perform honorable actions, just as if their mode of living and their way of dying were equivalent? How lamely do they judge!
Or do those who committed the bad deeds consider that We set them up as those who believed and worked the righteous deeds, as same in their living or their death? Bad was what they were judging.
Or did those who earned bad deeds think We would make them equal, in life and death, to those who have believed and fulfilled the requisites of faith? What bad judgment!
Or do those who keep themselves busy in evil works, think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous works, (so that) their life and their death (become) equal? That which they judge is evil.
Or do those whose deeds are haunted with evil, conceive in their minds that We assess them in life and death in the same value We ascribe to those whose hearts have been impressed with the image of religious and spiritual virtues and their deeds with wisdom and piety? How absurd and irrational is their judgment
Or those who committed evil deeds thought that We would make them like those who believed and did good works, equal in their life and their death? Evil is what they judge.
What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make
Do think those who commit evil deeds that We will make them like those who believed and did righteous deeds equal (in) their life and their death? Evil is what they judge
